I consider myself a California Girl even though I’m brunette and from Boston. 12 years ago I was lying on the beach in Nantucket at the Wauwinet and got a call from Ed Marin on my cell phone – he asked if I would be interested in working with him. Somebody told me if I got up everyday and went to work I would do well in California, so I gave it a shot. It took me awhile to get used to the laid back lifestyle, but I’ve got the hang of it now. At the time I started with Soicher Marin I had a background in visual design and a degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Interior Design. My typing teacher told me I would make a great secretary so I promptly dropped typing and took up art and design and here I am today.
My main job is to torture everyone in the office, operations (Armando), my assistant (Tracy) and my boss (Ed). My best ideas come to me when sitting in the parking lot called the 405, that is why there are post it notes always stuck to my dashboard. I am the VP of Sales, Senior Art Consultant, and an influential part of where the company has gone and is going to go in the future. I am continually pushing forward and trying to come up with the next great idea
